I couldn't find anything else close - looked 1851 to 1881!

Mary Ann's sister Naomi is with parents and the rest of the family in 1871 in Altofts.
But no Mary!

This could be your James in 1861 in Donnington Wood, Shropshire - his marriage certificate would confirm his father. As he was older than his wife he possibly knocked a couple of years off his age. Many of my ancestors give Lilleshall as place of birth in early census then Donnington in later census.

RG09 piece 1903  folio 57 page 11
Yard Row, Donnington Wood, Shropshire ( all born Lilleshall)
James Lowe head mar 60 Boat builder

Jane Lowe dau unmar 19 Loads coal on pit bank
James Lowe son unmar 17 Ironstone miner
Zillah Lowe dau 15 Works in brick....
Sarah Ann Lowe dau 11 Scholar

Hi Maddie,
I am also researching the Lowes from Lileshall, James Lowe (1800) is my 4x great grandfather (his daughter Jane being my ancestor)
I've discovered a few of James and Jane's 'children' on later census records are actually grandchildren, although recorded as son etc,  and some BMD records have been a bit hit and miss/hard to find with the children.
i.e William B Lowe (1864) is actually Jane's son, George (1858) is also Dinah's son.
Isaac and John are also likely not theres given the years of there birth, but I haven't been able to figure that puzzle out yet!
