Alas not related but in the good old days, we had a home help, who came sometimes with her son.  I think that she was 'Dolly' Fensome, but that was most probably a nickname.  He was a strange little chap who was said to like kippers with custard!  Can't recall his name: sorry.

Good morning, might be a long shot but l may have some information to add.....

My Mother in Law is a FENSOME, born 9th March 1943.

Rosemary was born in Harpenden and grew up there.

Her Fathers name was CHARLES FENSOME  Born approx 1910       Died  approx 1992

Will check the actual dates when l next speak to Rosemary who is approaching her 75th Birthday.
