Hi,
I am hoping someone can help me to identify the wife of Samuel Cooper. I found a marriage on Family History Online a long time ago for Samuel Cooper to Elizabeth Webey 25 Sep 1828 at Cheddar Parish Church.
She gives Cannington as her place of birth but I cannot find a baptism for her there under the name of Webey. There is an entry for Elizabeth Kibbey a base born daughter of Kazia 20 Nov 1808 which fits the age she gives on the census.
If I could find the marriage with any other details, I might be able to identify her as well as the correct Samuel.
There are two Samuel Coopers baptised in Cheddar in 1803 and I have no idea which is the right one.
Any help on either of the two requests would be much appreciated.
