Not sure if I'm on the right board but here goes. ;D

Looking for birth and death dates of Elizabeth Hillery.  All I have is her marriage to William Henry Rumsey on 29 Mar 1841.  Her father's name is given as George Hillery ropemaker.  They were married at Paddington, St John in the borough of Westminster and address given as 20 South Warf Road.

If any info on parent available would appreciate it as well.  Many thanks

How old was Elizabeth when she married William?

Have you found them in any of the censuses, and did they have any children to your knowledge (Henry William Rumsey in June 1841 perhaps)?

The 1851 census gives Elizabeth's age as 28, birthplace Middlesex St Luke's: HO107/1487/233/40.

I think it is Pipe Maker rather than Rope Maker.

See the family in Bury Place, Marylebone in 1841.  HO 107/677/6 folio 14 page 20

George Hillary was born in Richmond circa 1792 per the 1851 census

NB the address on the marriage register is 20 North Wharf Road, not South Warf Road

Hi all and thanks for the replies

You have given me something to work on for  now. It is very difficult to keep these families straight with them using the same names over and over. ::)

I am trying to work the line back on from my g.grandfather James Arthur Rumsey.

Thanks once again, will see how far I can get now with this info or I"ll be back again ;D
