femaile refuge

would any one please be able to give me  any information on a female refuge called
the home of mercy it was in church street cambridge,
just found a femail relative registered there in 1911 census,

This Refuge has been mentioned before see http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,454163.0.html

Church Street later became Christchurch Street and in the 1930/31 directory The Home of Mercy (Female Refuge) is still there , appears to be next to the Christ Church churchyard.
