Lyncombe & Widcombe drowning 1826
« on: Monday 16 May 05 01:53 BST (UK) »
It is said that Richard TWITCHIN from Berks drowned at Lyncombe by Widcombe in1825.
The (very old and dogeared) handwritten family tree that I am now holding says he was buried on 6th November 1825.
I wonder if there would be any reports of this incident and if he was buried in Lyncombe or was taken back to Berks for burial.
Any thoughts or advice would be most welcome.
