Yes it's been fun.  Good luck with them Flipster.

Just had a browse around 1861 and there are a surprising number of Squelches  :D

Main concentration of them Warks (Birm), Sussex, Surrey, Berks but a smattering elsewhere.

Think I've got a nice Shiraz waiting for me ...   :)

Cheers
Jonathan

Sorry if Im sounding confused, cos I am.

can I just clarify what you fabulous people have found out?

From the beginning then:

Violet Bradshaw  - my nan
Ada Florence Bradshaw nee Smith - my gt gm
Annie Clara/Clara Annie Squelch nee Smith - my gt aunt? or ggt
Albert Squelch (LOVE IT!) - my gt uncle? or ggt?
Albert E Squelch (their son) - my something cousin removed?
Sarah Smith nee Pearl/Peart - ggt gm
George Smith b abt 1853 - ggt gf
Rachel Peart - gggt gm

So who is the George Smith living with Rachel in 1881? Not Sarah's 'not so dead' husband?!  No, wrong birth year.

Would just like to say many many many thanks for all of your hard work.  Have a Shiraz for me!  I going to go and ruminate all this.

And to think 2 days ago, Annie Clara Squelch was just a name on a memorial card.  Look at her now!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU ;D
