John Andrew Ewart McLean Kirkudbright
« on: Tuesday 20 March 12 10:12 GMT (UK) »
I seek the family of John Andrew Ewart McLean born circa 1825 Gatehouse Kirkudbright.
He married 1850 in Barrhead to Jean Harley Elliot and they started a family in Neilston.
Efforts to locate his original family around Kirkudbright have been less than fruitful.
Any Mcleans of this family available for comment?

Cheers

Hi Jack

In case nobody recognises John's name....have you checked his death cert to see what it says regarding parents' names (assuming he died in Scotland)?
