Both Lawrence  and Timothy would have been born well before the start of civil records so you would need to check for church records.

starting with the birth for Alice - I presume you have the record for her from FamilySearch ?

It's an extracted civil record of birth rather than a baptism - the captions on these are a bit general to allow for different record types. The location given on these types of records is often a sub-district rather than a specific town or townland.

see : Alice Dwyer - 1874

Have you already located a civil marriage record for Lawrence and Ellen ?
This should show their current residences and also their father's occupations, which might help your search...

see :  Introduction to Irish Records
My Ancestor came from Ireland - where do I start?

In case you dont have the marriage - there's a possible Index match for Laurence and Ellen in 1872. The Registration district is Tipperary, which is based in the County town. The sub-district of Cappagh/Cappaghwhite is part of this. Some sections of this district are in Co. Limerick.

  Name: Laurence Dwyer
  Registration district: Tipperary
  Event type: Marriage
  Year:   1872
  Volume : 3 / Page : 673

There's an Ellen Murray listed with the same details.

for notes on ordering research certs, and the details they contain see :

Many thanks for your info. Was hoping I could have found other descendants of this family. I don't know if Lawrence had any other siblings.

Hi,

My ancestors were Patrick Dwyer and Bridget Ryan who emigrated to Invercargill, NZ, from Cappawhite, Tipperary, with their four children (Ellen, Bridget, Patrick and Mary) in 1879.

Perhaps Lawrence and Patrick were brothers?
Please email me and I will send you further details about Patrick.

Hi
I saw your thread and I descend from Patrick Dwyer and Bridget Ryan through their daughter Bridget (Delia) who married John Hannan. Their daughter Christina was my grandmother who was born in Invercargill in 1902. I would love to hear what family history information you have.
Thanks
Melanie

Hi Melaine.
Apologies for the delay in replying to you.
Your Patrick Dwyer is a brother to my 2 x Gt Grandmother Ellen Dwyer.
Ellen was born abt 1825 in Ct. Tipperary Ireland.
She married Timothy Dwyer (don't know if they are blood connected), and settled at Ryal Bush, Southland, NZ.
Ellen and your Patricks parents are Nialalley Dwyer & Ellen Maher.

I have quite a bit of info on Patrick's line.
If you would like to email at * I will send it to you.

Hi all,

Don't know if I'm too late to write on here to get a reply - but will try my luck!

I descend from Ellen (Nellie) Dwyer, Invercargill, whom married Harold Albert Frampton. Her parents were Patrick Dwyer and Catherine Ryan. I think Patrick's parents were Timothy and Ellen Dwyer, daughter of the Nialalley Dwyer & Ellen Maher who you've referred to in this post.

If someone did happen to have any further information that they wouldn't mind sharing, that would be most helpful and appreciative.

Best regards, Libby.
