Brecon barracks

Can anyone tell me where I might find out which regiments were based at Brecon barracks in 1876 - 1880 (or so)? Or are there any parish records available on-line? 

Looking for a great great grandfather (Walter Robert Leigh) who we understand was married from Brecon barracks in 1876 and the birth of his first child (Thomas Henry Leigh) around December 1880 lists the barracks as his birthplace. Not bought certificates as yet though (will do asap).

We have been in touch with the Royal Welsh but they have no record of him, so we are wondering who else may have been based at Brecon at the time.

Hi, we believe he was born in Southwark (Surrey) in 1845, lived in Kent (1851 and 1861) but cannot find him in 1871 or 1881. He died in 1891.

Married Mary Ann Thomas in 1876. Children Thomas Henry (1880), Mary Elizabeth (1883) and Albert James (1889), appear in 1901 and 1911 with mother and step-father in Pontypridd.
