John Taylor marriage
« on: Monday 26 March 12 08:41 BST (UK) »
Hi all,

Can anyone find for me the marriage of John Taylor.  He had a daughter Elizabeth Taylor who was born in approximately 1887 in Princess Street, Fermoy.

Thanks for all your help

Kieran

I think I'd start with the birth for Elizabeth .. there's a better chance of finding the right marriage if you have both parents names.

Here's a possible match from the BMD Index :

  Name: Eliza Taylor
  Registration district:   Fermoy
  Event type: Birth
  Quarter and year: Jan-Mar 1887
  Volume : 4 / Page : 649

See :  Ordering Certs from GRO Roscommon
Details included on a Birth Cert

Hi everyone.

I have just stumbled across this thread and I appreciate it goes back a number of years now, but would be really interested in any information anyone has on Mary Wynn / Taylor / Keogh, Elizabeth Taylor

Lizzie Taylor was my grandmother's half sister.

Mary Wynn was married to John Taylor and they had a daughter Eliza ( Elizabeth / Lizzie ) 7 Jan 1887.
John then died 29 April 1889, and Mary went on to marry my great grandfather Michael Keogh and have 3 more daughters.

I would love to find out anything more about Mary Wynn, and am happy to share more about what I have discovered in return.

Hope to hear from you
Carolyn
