I am trying to find information about my ancestor Sarah Barber Kirkbright born 1864, married Joseph Simpson born 1862 in Pateley Bridge, West Riding of Yorkshire.

Found it - she married as Sarah Barber

Can you tell us anything about the surname Kirkbright

beat me to it Carole!  just found it too.

It looks like Sarah dies in 1944 in Bradford registration district.

Wonder if Kirkbright is a stepfather?

1871 census Sarah Barber is living with Kirkbrights...and in 1881 is a Kirkbright with same "parents".

I found this 1891 entry for Skipton but need confirmation it's the right couple
