I only came across this site when I looked up Crompton Roberts. We have just reframed the sketches that he did of our son.
I have not come across this site before. I have been trying to investigate the family history on my fathers side which is a complete mystery

Thanks David,i would be extremely grateful if you could possibly send me copies of the sketches as I am in touch with Richard Crompton's descendants who would find them of great interest.

As far as your own particular research into your own Family History,I am sure that there are people on here only too willing to help you.
