Hi Chloe,

Due to copyright issues etc we are not allowed to post details from 1911 census

I think we are all doing a lot of Guessing (myself included in that )

Are you certain Henry A Seed who marrieed Emily Bradley was a brother to Margaret Seed? and  are you sure Emily Bradley was sister to John W Bradley???

There is a death reg for henry A Seed age 71 b.c. 1892 death reg Mar qtr 1963 Sunderland 1a 1314

1901 there is a Henry Arthur seed age 9 b. Durham with parents Timothy and Emily

????

I think you really need certificates to confirm parents

THere are possible deaths for Emily (1963) and Henry (1979) in Sunderland that would tie in with birthdates of 1893 and 1907 respectively.

Redboxed - and yes, I agree that certificates are needed!  All this is guesswork without proof at the moment

There is this entry on Free BMD Amelia Bradley Jun 1891 Durham vol 10a page 426

You may need to obtain his birth or marriage certificate to confirm his father's name

Hi Suz not 100% on this, but I think as long as the person posting the 1911 info as paid for it, they are allowed to post it.

click on the link from Spidermonkey

www.freebmd.org.uk will help you look up reference numbers for ordering certificates from the GRO.  For example, in 1921:

Mar quarter (so married in Jan, Feb or March) 1921
John W Bradley married Margaret E Seed in Chester-le-s. (this is the registration district), volume 10a, page 1240
This reference can be used for ordering certs from https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/Login.asp (at a cost of £9.25, which is a lot, but sometimes it is the only way to get conclusive proof)
