Is anyone else out there researching their Irish roots in Gloucestershire? My interests are with the name Bryan/ Brien in Gloucester and Sheehan in Gloucester and Cheltenham.These families arrived from Co Cork during the 1850s.Local names associated with these families are Compton, Bryars,Phelps,Mallard Townley and Edwards.
