Bolas family or/and Cond family

Can anyone point me in the right direction ? I have a copy of marriage of James Bolas and Mary Cond married 22 May 1824. Unable to read the Parish but in the County of Denbigh and Salop.
I am trying to find their parents/family.

The marriage is in the presence of Thomas Cond and Anne Bolas.

The parish looks something like ?alan rubon..

Any help would be much appreciated

Could it be that one of the parties to the marriage were living at Belan Ruabon?

If only it was always that easy, WR.  I think one of my Mates rellies married into the Condes.


I see that we need to check for their parents - will have a look later if no one else has tried. Got to be away now.

Trying to locate in 1841/51 censuses but so far not enough info. Could these be their children:

Selattyn
3 Sept 1826 William Bolas s/o James and Mary
14 Sept 1828 Ann Bolas d/o James and Mary (died 13 Jan 1829)
14 Feb 1830 James Bolas s/o James and Mary

(all IGI extracted)

The Bolas family were mainly from Chirk - a William and Ann on the 1841/51 there. I have a possible bpt for a James in 1799 and an Ann in 1806 but not sure yet - Parents were Thomas and Mary of Halton  :-\

Could James snr have died by 1841?I'm looking at a possible James jnr with mother Mary in Middlesex in 1841.

Not got parents yet but this is very tempting - James seems a wee bit young or he was underestimating his age!   Could Mary have died?
