William BUNTING, Handley 1831.
« on: Sunday 15 April 12 14:43 BST (UK) »
Hi,

I was trying to locate family details re William BUNTING c1831, Handley, Derbys.

I can find him in 1871/1881 but cannot pinpoint him in 1841/1851 as I can find no details re his birth on the IGI, FreeREG etc.

He married Sarah BARTON in 1862, her parents being George BARTON and Anne WOOD.

I was hoping that there may be additional info on the local PR's ?

Kind regards,

Mark.

1841 census - there is a William Bunking (Bunting) b. 1831, coal minor. He is listed on his own but looking at the original it looks as if he may be with a family called Searc?ton (I think ???)

Added - The name has been transcribed as Seveston and modified to Searston

Hi Mark

I can't see anything in the North Wingfield PR's for a William c 1831.   There are other children though born to Job & Fanny baptised there.

Job Bunting married Frances Reddage by banns 11.12. 1823

Fanny Bunting buried 5.2. 1880 aged 84 abode Office Row, Clay Cross

Can't see Job's burial

Thanks, everyone.

If there is no record in NW does Handley come under another parish?

I really need to tie him down to someone before I can proceed, you see.  :-*

Kind regards,

Mark.

Hi Mark

Information from marriage

William Bunting 29 single father Job Bunting
Sarah Barton 30 single father George Barton
23 June 1862

The film number is 1041095 and if you type that in the film search box on Familysearch, it tells you the information was taken from North Wingfield Parish Records.
