« on: Wednesday 18 May 05 21:08 BST (UK) »
Hi There, I have access to 1861 1871 1881 1891 1901....yet due to prob. bad transcribing I can't find a very important link to my lot. On 1901 on line I have found a Florence Locke aged 15 in Caerleon,Mon born London......has anuone any credit for a 1 off look up? I'll gladly give 10 look ups on my censuses. I have spent 2 years looking for this link......I gave a name with a diff. spelling and just entered born London and up she popped! I was always looking for Lock (correct spelling) Please help! Regards,Kevin.

Hi Minor, I'm afaid this doesn't appear to be the one. Admittedly there are coincidences but on 1901 it says she is 15 and that the birthplace is Caerleon ....not far from Newport.... I know it sounds daft but I have tried for 2 years....she was born 1885.Many thanks ,Kevin

Hi Pauline, Thanks for your reply.......when I say this is difficult it really is! Her father John died in Lambeth of kidney failure the year she was born...1885.My GGrandmother Sophia and siblings Eliza Jane, James and Florence were with there Grandfather James French 1891 in Newport Mon. There Mother ..I haven't a clue prob. dead. In 1901 James French (my Gx3 was in the workhouse...Newport) Sophia was in Caerphilly, Glam. as for the others...nothing since 1891! I just found Florence Locke aged 15 on 1901 on line but it will not take my Cred. card. Thanks ,Kev.
