I have been searching through my odds and ends and found details of James Gannon's death. James Gannon, Gentleman, died on 15th June 1894 at his son Patrick's home, 16 Coleman Street Fitzroy  Victoria . He was 80 years old and had been seen by Dr Wilson the day before. He died of bronchitis.
His father was James Gannon, a millwright and his mother Ann Gannon (formerly Marshall). He was buried on 17th June in the Melbourne cemetery.
He came from Westmeath and had been in Victoria 53 years.   His children were  Michael 55 years, Esther 53 years, Patrick 50, Mary 47, Simon 45, Ann dead,
James 41, Joseph 39, John 36, Ann 33, Stephen, dead. I hope you have some success on your travels in Ireland. Good Luck

Hi All,
Is it quiet sometime since you used this, I hope the reaches you.
My name is Niall Gannon, I believe we are related.
I now live in Teernacreeve, and am researching our history.
Maybe we could share information.

Hi Niall,
Lovely to hear from you. It would be very interesting to share information with you.
I visited Teernarcreeve in 2012 and found the land the Gannon’s leased. Couldn’t see the church records though.
Had a wonderful time in Ireland travelling around. I would love to go back.
I’m not sure the best way to securely swap contact details any ideas. Best way to start would be via email.
