Silly Question ___WILLS
« on: Sunday 29 April 12 21:31 BST (UK) »
HELP!!!

Years ago before the cyber way of genealogy I had to visit Somerset House whenever i wanted to find a post 1858 Will.  I know that those probate admins are available on Ancestory.com and they are the digital image of the books that I used to search in.  In Somerset House you could then see the actual Will.

So having found the probate on Ancestory, is there now a cyber way of applying for a copy of the related Will or do I still have to travel to London (somewhere in Hobourn) and personally order them???????

Thanks for any advice.

Regards

Neil

Hi Neil,

This page has the info you need - wills can be ordered by post (see about a third of the way down for address and other details):
