1909 death in Ripon area
« on: Sunday 29 April 12 23:47 BST (UK) »
Hello,

Looking for info on FANNY JOBSON.
Fanny is listed on the GrO Index as having died in 1909 in the reg district of Ripon.
Have found her on all the census up to 1901 as being in Co. Durham.
Is there a church record or a record of headstones, or perhaps a death notice in a newspaper that can
give me further info.
Thanks,
Hinton

Hi

For any obit search you would have to know her exact date of death

Hello,
To date that is the only info I have regarding her death. Her husband predeceased her.

I note that I omitted that it was the Dec Q of 1909

Hi

You would need to buy a copy of the death cert to get her exact date of death.

For somebody to search obits based only on the December qtr would mean searching through 13 weeks of newspapers.  If it was a daily newspaper - that is potentially 78 newspapers
