Hi,

From 1935-1949 my great aunt Alice Roberts lived at a house called Oakhurst in Lustleigh, Devon. I have a picture of the house. I would very much like to know whether this house is still standing. Can someone help me please?

There is a house which was built c.1850, which could be the house you are looking for -

Lustleigh
TQ13 9TG

If you look at street map along with your photograph you might be able to 'marry up' the two.

Thank you for your reply. It does seem that that could be the place. What I have is a postcard which was sent about 1939, and Oakhurst is only visible from a distance. I will attach the picture. Do you know if the house is still a private residence?
