Hello,

Would someone please be able to look up two marriages of John HITCHMAN in Chipping Campden.

21 May 1746 to Mary ROBERTS
04 Sep 1749 to Mary SHEAKEL/SHEKEL

I have a hunch that it might be the same John marrying. If possible could someone check to see if either entry has anything additional to help identify the John HITCHMAN getting married or if the marriage to Mary S has John as a widower.

I have baptisms of 4 children to John & Mary HITCHMAN in Chipping Campden:
1752 - John; 1755 - William (my 6xG grand-father); 1758 - Clement; 1764 - Catherine.

Source: Glos Archives (GA) PFC 81 IN 1/3 1, Marriages, Chipping Camden:-
John HITCHMAN and Mary ROBERTS of Sherborn(?), (could be Sherbourne, Glos), married May 21st, 1746.
John HITCHMAN and Mary SHEAKEL(?), both of this parish, married ye 4th day of September 1749.
p.s. I could not find a burial for a Mary HITCHMAN nee ROBERTS at Chipping Camden between the 2 marriage dates.
