Hello Ross and Cromarty people...

I'm researching Alexander Dingwall born about 1823 in Dingwall who married Agnes Patterson possibly of Dingwall as well. They were married in Liverpool in 1848 and I have them and their family all the way from then. On the wedding certificate, Alexander's father is listed as John, Blacksmith. Agnes' father is listed as Peter, Blacksmith.

But, I'm struggling to make definite progress back from them into Scotland.

If these Dingwalls sound familiar to you, I'll be happy to show you my Dingwall if you'll show me yours. :-)

Hi

The freeCen website has a John Dingwall age 50 blacksmith , Dingwall , Ross and Cromarty
Looks like his wife was Ann
(1841 Census)
