Hi, I am new to this site but after Googling the above name it came up as a thread on the Welsh language forum. Although I am English John Harlech Jones was my Great Grandfather and I have ammassed a lot of information on both him and Nant Gwytheryn. Could someone please arrange a translation for me, I would be very interested to know the content.

John Harlech was my paternal great-grandfather and Jane Ann's family lived in Ty Canol at Nant Gwrtheyrn as you probably know.  I have been trying to trace John Harlech's ancestors for some time but have had little joy until now.
I would be really delighted to share any information with you, and would be pleased to receive any knowledge that you have.
Most members of the family have stayed in North Wales although there are some also in Outer London, the Outer Hebrides and Canada.
Are you on Genes Reunited?  If so I could share my family tree with you.

Hi Blaenau45, my Grandmother was Jane Ann Jones (Hannah) and she married William Williams hence the soldiermawr. My Mother was Laura Jane (Ty Canol) Williams. I do not have my family tree on any of the websites, I have spent a lot of time putting it together and feel reluctant to give all that information away to be honest. I was in Blaenau last week, I assume you are from there ?. P.M me and perhaps we can communicate privately.
