im trying to find anything on liberty james born 1886 taunton somerset,his brother was in devonshires.we know he was in army as we have a photo.his parents were william and jemima.we know nothing about him if married,its said he went to america ?

If you have a photo and it has cap or collar badges, or anything else that might identify his regiment, please scan it to as high a resolution as possible and put it on here.

Reg No 135259 RFA Driver

Reg No 135261 RFA Driver this one died 26/7/1919 Edit this one is not yours he was born 1894

Liberty's attestation papers are available in the British Army Service Records 1760-1915 section on FindmyPast. There are four pages so it would be worth your while to have a look at this information, achooo.

There's a liberty james married gladys h swan qtr2 1929 southampton vol 2c page 184.

I have checked passengers leaving the uk and passengers entering new york but no sign of him.

still looking though

thankyou hugs found him 1904 in dorset reg,did he stay in was he in ww1 as his brother was when did he die

liberty,seem to disapear
