Kellet's in 1500 and 1600's
« on: Friday 25 May 12 22:57 BST (UK) »
I'm looking for information on the surname Kellat in Lancashire during the 1500's and 1600's.  I have two ancestors during this time, Edward Kellat, born in Cark (I have no record of his wife or children) and his son William, born in 1600 also in Cark.  (I have no record of his wife's name)  I have found 3 children for William, John born 1629, Joane born 1630 and Robert born in 1630.

If anyone has any information on other Kellat's, could you please let me know?  I'm in the states, and I have run into dead ends from my side of the pond!

thank you, Claudia

Hi,
FamilySearch has Edward's spouse as Anne Maudsley of Ormskirk. See https://www.familysearch.org/tree/pedigree/landscape/L8BW-L18
