Walton
« on: Sunday 27 May 12 17:27 BST (UK) »
Two big firsts for me today.
First, I have been presented by family a family tree for Walton and Pennick, heavily located around Witham, Feering and Rivenhall in Essex.
Second, I have found this website.
Looking at the Pennick side I am fortunate it travels back to 1526, which is simply amazing and has hours of study. The Walton side, while also very good heads back to 1758. There it seems to start somewhat inconclusively. I dont know if possible but would anyone be able to assist with a part completed entry that starts it flowing.
All we have is William Walton from Melton Mowbray, marrying a lady with the Christian name Jane. They had a son John Walton born in Melton Mowbray in 1758. John Walton must have married locally but I have no information on that. However, he had a son also John Walton in 1795 who later married Ann Needham on 31/8/18 in Melton Mowbray, Ann was also born in 1795.
All thoughts guidance would be very gratefully received.

Trevor,
Thank you for your response. Yes, it appears the Essex side is well covered, the trip down from north came as a surprise, so if this goes to the appropriate board that would be great.
Many thanks for your assistance.

Mike,
Thank you so much for your response, in the time of travelling 25 miles from family, I am amazed to get home and find this information.
As I have said before I am very new to this, today in fact and am going to really enjoy myself.
If you do not mind me asking, how would I go about finding Williams d.o.b. and parent information ? are there online resource sites  you could recommend ?
Thanks again for your help and time.
Best regards,
Steve
