Brown's from Drung, Cavan
« on: Friday 01 June 12 16:20 BST (UK) »
I am looking into my maternal 3 x Great Grandfather Robert Brown who i think is the Robert Brown who was born in approximately 1808 Drung. I think his parents may have been George and Elizabeth (Siblings Thomas 1801, Jane 1803, Joseph 1805 and Sarah 1812).

My Robert Brown moved from Ireland to what is now London (Previously Middlesex). In 1841 he is a shoe/boot maker living in St Giles Without Cripplegate, City of London. In 1844 he married Frances Hamilton (who was born in Scotland). In 1845 while living in Chelsea, they had a daughter call Agnes Elizabeth Susannah Brown who sadly died aged 20 months. Then in approximately 1852 they had a daughter called Frances Elizabeth Brown also while living in Chelsea. Robert remained living in Chelsea and working as a shoe/boot maker until his death in 1878.

I would be really happy to hear from anyone who may have some information on the family or even better is a relative :D
