Can any date the pic by the cars please?

Looks  like the 50's to me.

Standard Vanguard pickup looks most modern.

Can you scan just the photo at a high resolution to read the number plate please then that can be dated:

The 2 readable registrations show 1959 onwards.

The lady on the left has a 'bucket' bag, which I remember from the late 50's !

Love the wicked grin on the lady at the back !

There were many pre1939 cars still running in the 50s, like the first and third from the left.  By 1950ish the bulging wings had started to appear and went for years .
