Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo  frustrating not to find them in 1920  ???

Hoping someone else will come along and find if they are mistranscribed or the ages are out again - it would seem they are in Massachusetts though.

Hard to make anything out, looks as if she was returning to New York -  Perhaps to a Miss Liddle. Bay Shore  ???

Who was the other sister you referred to earlier (also date of birth)  ?

Great that's her. ;D

One of Beatrice sisters was on stage too and would have travelled with her

I believe her sister Isabel went to NY to collect her nephew at some point as there was illness in the family. Maybe between 1917-25

Isabel Liddell was born 2/1/1880. Possibly Ethel Liddell visited too b. 1876 and also Dora Liddell born 1889. Alice b.1884

Article in the NY Times Monday March 24 th 1913

"3 held after $5000 Gem theft from Actress" ( + $500 cash and a draft for 9,000)

Miss Margaret Beatrice Liddell had left the previous week for England to visit her mother, the money, jewels and draft were in a jewellery case. Her guardian Mrs Martha Handpe of 250 West 109 th Street said the treasure belonged to her ward.
