Arthur William Samuel

Hi,
a lot of kind people havebeen researching this person for me, but I have a problem. Having looked at all the available records, it seems that the Arthur that has been found (mother Ellen) was actually called James Arthur and his first name was obviously dropped for the 1891 census. Therefore it is unliukely that he is the Arthur William who was born Harston, married in Nottinghamshire to Sarah Kemp. He was born c 1872 but I can find no records in the Harston baptisms for him. There was an Arthur b 1868 d 1869 and James Arthur born 1870. I need help because I have gone way back probably up the wrong family line.
Any help to sorrt this out would be much appreciated

Probably if you'd mentioned that he had a middle name William in your earlier thread you'd have been given a different answer.

Checking the obvious, the GRO index, I can see now that he married as Arthur William Samuels and his wife was Sarah Ann Kemp, not just Sarah Kemp.

Thanks Selina that's great and sorted out the problem. Note to 'bedfordshire boy', I did put the full names on the Nottinghamshire board, just a mistake on this one, but no harm done.
