Cheshire Marriage Bond / Allegation - COMPLETED

Hello.

I am interested in a Marriage Bond / Allegation between Henry Parry born abt 1830 and Elizabeth Williams born abt 1835 which was issued in Chester in July 1857.  They were later married (I believe) at St John the Baptist, Chester but not until the following year.

If anyone could lookup this record for me I would be extremely grateful of any extra info it may hold.

Hi Karen,

There's a marriage record on the cheshire parish register database on 05/05/1858 at St John's Chester. It gives the names of fathers (both Richard), also witnesses.

If you haven't used the site before, select marriages and when you find the marriage you want to look at, click on the circle and the square next to the record - you need to put an imaginary '1' in front of the date, so 8580505 becomes 1858 05/05.

Thanks Neptune.  I managed to work out what to do and found the record. Even more sure that it's the Henry & Elizabeth I'm after as Henry's occupation is recorded as Boatman and I know that they lived & worked on the canals. Will use this site to cross check a few other records I have.
