just thought as you live so close

check the cemetery you might get a clue to who his parents are

or buy his marriage certificate

it would give you answers to both Joseph and Sarah

Hi and welcome from me too

Gladys Boote, formery Berry had the maiden name of Kershaw.

Gladys Kershaw's birth reg'd Dec.qtr.1929 Macclesfield - her mothers maiden name Sykes.   She was the youngest of 4 (3 girls, 1 boy).   Her marriage to Mr. Berry was in Sept.qtr.1949 Macclesfield and to Antony Boote in 1961.

Her parents were Stanley Kershaw b.Sept.quarter 1895 Maccesfield, d.Sept.qtr.1957 Macclesfield and Winifred Sykes b.Sept.1886 Macclesfield, d.Sept.qtr.1962 Macclesfield.   Stanley and Winifred married Sept.qtr.1917 Macclesfield.

There are a couple of public trees on Ancestry for Gerald Wright and Elsie Stuchbury which have further details.

The trees were for Gerald Wright and Elsie Stuchbury - no tree for Stanley Kershaw.

Think a copy of Stanley Kershaw/Winifred Sykes marriage certificate is called for here.
