William Hobbs brother of Danny Hobbs was my Grandfather..

Daniel Hobbs married Julia Josephine O'Leary in 1928. He was a merchant, she was a national school teacher. John Hobbs, an elder brother was a witness.

Danny was a bit more than a merchant in Cork. Quite a celebrity and sports personality in the GAA. He had a menswear shop in Patrick Street.. Appeared on stage as a comedian & entertainer .
