My family sold their farm in 1967/1968 how would I find any records for the farm.When they brought it and when they sold it.The farm was at Dubbo N.S.W Aust.They brought it around the 1950.

My first stop would be to contact the relevant council and ask them where to find records regarding titles.
Can anyone else think of aomething else?

Was there a property name or something that would identify it in a Trove search?
Have you found them on the electoral roll in that area?

Your would need to purchase a History of Title Transactions from the LPI of NSW.
It will have all the information you require & the cost is $11.60.

Hi All,

Using information from parish maps, crown plans, etc. in conjunction with SRO resources like valuation rolls, closer settlement files, government gazettes etc. a great deal of information that has been forwarded to  Maureendalton50, including location address of property and numerous valuable details of purchase, lot number, plan number, vol folio, portion/acres, size and dimensions of land etc.

A time consuming task resulting in a very happy outcome as all the information has been very much appreciated.
