If we are going with the theory that Killingworths parents were Benjamin and Martha  there are these burials from Wootton

1816   Benjamin HEDGES   aged 52
1826   Benjamin HEDGES   aged 68

1835   Martha   HEDGES aged 69

-Wootton is in the NBI up to 1850

The tree on An....y  says the Benjamin that died in 1816 is the father of Killingworth so born in 1763 and has very nicly included copies of scans of the transcripts of the registers as sources.  The one baptised in 1763 was the son of William and Catherine,  and according to them Catherine's maiden name was 'Killingworth'

 :D

Sue can you find that marriage of William & Catherine in the marriage index?

Exploring that tree a bit more - and it does seem fairly thoroughly researched it seems that William Hedges and Catherine (nee Killingworth) had a son called Killingworth,  who would be a brother of Benjamin's born in 1749 in Wootton,  I think this would be the one the London records Sue found earlier reffer to.  I seems he died in Sunbury about 1823

The will has an Aunt Hedges. I think this could be Catherine, with children.. one of them is a Benjamin.
