Rebecca Morrow (nee. Elder) is my grandmother. Her parents were Thomas and Hannah Elder.  She married my grandfather, John Morrow, Oct. 3, 1907.
Children: (my aunts, uncle and father) all lived in Richmond BC
Margaret Hannah Morrow (Rita)
John Elder Morrow (Jack, my father) Born Feb. 3, 1910.
Mary Elizabeth Morrow (Molly)
Ruby Morrow
James Morrow (Jim)
She had three siblings that I know of (my great uncles)
Johnny
Freddy
Sammy - Married to Mable Wesley
John Morrow immigrated to Richmond (Lulu Island) B.C. Canada in 1906 and my grandmother Rebecca, aka as Ruby followed in 1907 after he established himself.  I knew my grandmother as Ruby and did not find that her birthname was Rebecca till I visited her grave years after her death. I was her first grandchild. She continues to be the biggest influence in my life. She was a remarkable woman. She had eight grandchildren.
John Kingsley Morrow (born 1938)

I knew both my great uncles Johnny and Freddy who lived in Richmond BC where I grew up. My great uncle Sammy died before I was old enough to know him, but I knew his wife Mable and their three children very well. The youngest I knew as cousin Marie who was actually my dads cousin. Marie was just a bit older than me and I always had a crush on her while growing up. Mable was from around Prince Rupert BC. She raised her three children in New Westminster, BC where she was a furrier.

Not sure what sort of information you are looking for but Rebecca Elder was born 1883 in Limavady-

Ruby is a common nickname for Rebecca in the area.

I just found more (I really have to get all these notes together).

My great-great grandparents.
Thomas Elder - 1800-1883
Rebecca Perry - 1809-1882

My great grandparents. Married 1871 maybe ?
Thomas Perry Elder - 1847-1929 (boot maker) Limivady
Hannah Robinson? d.1870 Maybe first wife?
Hannah Hunter - d.1898? born in Scotland
Apparently there were eleven children. Sammy, Johnny, Freddy, Rebecca, Joseph, Maggie(Margaret), Sarah Warke and Thomas are the only ones I can identify.

My grand parents.
John Morrow - 1879-1947 ( carpenter-cabinet maker-farmer)
Rebecca Morrow (nee Elder aka Ruby) -1883-1972 Apparently Hannah Elder(nee)Hunter was her stepmother maybe?

My parents.
John (Jack) Elder Morrow - 1910-1997
Ida Lorena Morrow (nee Varty) - 1914-1989

This is mostly word of mouth I have made notes on at family gatherings over the years. Too bad I wasn't interested in this stuff back when they were all still alive!

We aren't allowed to post details of living people so you'll need to go back and delete some of the details on your post- it's explained under Posting Guidelines in Help pages (link at top of page).

Rebecca's mother was Hannah Hunter as is written on her birth records (link I posted earlier)

Will have a look at a few things and post more details

"Warke household in 1901 with Sarah's sister Rebecca Elder"

This is getting interesting! I remember, back when I was 14 or 15, relatives visiting the Morrows in Richmond BC.  They were the Louis Warke family with a son close to my age. I believe they were from somewhere in the USA and belonged to the same religious affiliation (Brethren) as my parents and grandparents. The services were always held in "Gospel Halls". I had never realized they were from the Elder side.
