NSW ER 1903 COWPER, polling at Holey Flat
Charlott PULLEN, of Pipeclay Creek, domestic duties  (there was no ‘e’ for Charlott on this paper copy of the roll)
Erastus PULLEN, of Pipeclay Creek, farmer
Ethel PULLEN, of Pipeclay Creek, domestic duties
John Kingsnorth PULLEN, of Moorland, farmer
Mary PULLEN, of Stewart’s River, domestic duties
Sarah Ann PULLEN of Moorland, domestic duties
Sarah Rachael PULLEN of Stewart’s River, domestic duties
William PULLEN, of Moorland, farmer

The electorate of Cowper in 1903 went from Tea Gardens to Evans Head.   I have not checked ALL the different polling places within that electorate.

Hello Sue, Thank You for that info, He is my great-great Uncle, talking to my dad atm and he remembers his Mother Margaret Turner (Pullen) talking about going to visit her Uncle Austy (Reginald) and Aunt Ada.

Dad says that Reginald Austin Pullen was also an axeman. We have a photo somewhere in our files of him and some other men all sitting on a big chopped down tree.

Hi there,

Your DAD should be eligible to apply for NSW BDM dcs where he would expect HIS OWN NAME to be included in the names of children of the deceased, or if he was named as the informant, even where their NSW deaths occurred less than 30 years ago.   Where the deaths occurred more than 30 years ago, those records are now public records, so anyone can apply.

http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/OurForms.htm

NSW BDM regulations restrict access to
birth records where the births were less than 100 years ago
marriage records where the marriages were less than 50 years ago
death records where the deaths were less than 30 years ago

In general terms, if you know you are named on a restricted record, you are eligible to apply for access.

Cheers,  JM
