military cap badge?
« on: Monday 09 July 12 16:29 BST (UK) »
I found this while digging the allotment the other day (Hove, Sussex) and wondered if anyone might help identify it, or give me any clues on where I could go to get it identified? Initially thought it might be a military cap badge but thats probably wishful thinking. Many thanks

I do not think it is military. Although it may be half a badge that once read EviiR, GvR or GviR. Does it look as if it is broken?

Thanks Ken. There is a broken clasp on the reverse but certain its not detached/broken from another 'bit'.
