Sarah Ann Fisher
married 1856 3Q Watford
David King

David King is Elizabeth Isadore Wells father - not William Wells!!!

this would explain why she called her son David too.

now I think William Wells was her father...

Will have to try and work it out.
David King and Sarah Fisher had separaten 1863/4 I think.

But he continued to live not far from them, 1871 Admiral Row Kensington with new "wife" Jane &daug Emily aged 7.

David King then died in 1891 1Q - which would explain William Wells and Sarah Ann didn't marry untill 1892...

Hi Keziah.  You have been so busy, thanks.
1) Cornwall  ref. from family, Cambs. from records.  Only census I have
2)William Batten married to E.I.Wells. Tried for marr. cert. but no record at GRO.  (I decided that Sunday pm is no time for concentrating but had a peek at page 2.  Ouch!!)
3) W. Batten married to Emma Murch.
4)1871 Census. I don't have this record, so again, thanks, but I have record of him being a chair caner and 2 addresses:-
9 LINSDALE ROAD and 28 Church St. Farningham.??  Most enlightening as I didn't note a source.
5)1911 census. Thanks. I have same on 1901 census but assumed David/Fred were visitors.  Evidently, not.

I'll tackle page 2 next time.

Nettie S  Yes, have that, thankyou.

Having written out all your info. it does make sense. Thank you.  I'm thinking of taking out a sub. with 'ancestry', 'find my past' or extending my 'Genes Reunited'.  From where do you get your info?  I must correct one thing.  Sarah Ann Emily Batten was my mother.  Her birth cert. states that she was born at:- 1 Golden Mews, Kensington.  Don't know about the other addresses.  And I was always told that she had 12 siblings.  Certainly there is one to add to the list. Alfred b. 1914.  I also remember an Uncle Stephen who may have visited us to say 'Goodbye'. I think he emigrated to Australia.
Any more, gratefully received!
