Robert Adams
« on: Sunday 15 July 12 14:37 BST (UK) »
Thanks to all who assisted me in Tracing Robert Adams who lived in Vancouver after he emigrated to Canada.

This is a subsequent request for Robert Adams' sister Harriet born 1900 Belfast married to Robert McKittrick with three children born to them: Molly, Elizabeth Luke (Lillie), and Robert.  The marriage of Harriet Adams and Robert McKittrick would have likely taken place about 1918 in Belfast.
Adams,McKittrick. Co Down. N Ireland.

hi all
just looked in passenger lists for him but nothing jumps out as him the only records for a robert adams leaving belfast are in the late 1920,s the only records for the 30/40,s and there,s only a hand full all have other folk with them as most do . what you need to know is that passenger records are very hit and miss some have full names some just an initial and surname and others are just surname and nothing else they aren,t like looking up ordinary records with lots of info so as MikeMelen has said did he travel alone or with others the more  you give us the more likely we can help .

Mountain View Cemetery seems to have a Robert George Adams and Emma Sophia Adams

ADAMS, Emma Sophia  Nov-04-1948  HORNE2/*/04/026/0007

ADAMS, Robert George  Jun-18-1962  HORNE2/*/04/026/0007 (This date is slightly later than the family search record showing the date of death - could be typo error  ???)

Thanks for looking this up for me.  It sure looked like it might be our 'Robert" as he was listed as 13 when the Belfast 1911 Census was taken, but only the first name was registered.  If he had a middle name it was not recorded. The mother's name was recorded as Mary Annie in the 1911 Census. All I am sure of is that the family was living on Ashdale Street in County  Down in 1911
