According to a family tree entry the above Robert was also born in Belfast. Antrim
He had 3 siblings Elizabeth 1893 - 1968  Harriet 1900 - 1999 and Thomas 1906 - 1964 all died in Belfast. Antrim. Father Samuel 1861 - 1947 and Mother Mary Anne Ponise 1872 - 1929.

Does your Mother recall if there was any mention of siblings at all ?
What was your Roberts occupation?

Sandra

Harriet was my mother. I have no idea what Robert did for a living.

I think the date you quoted for Thomas' death of 1964 might be a typo. I think it must have been 1954, because I remember going to his funeral in Milltown (Falls Road, Bellfast).  Everything else seem to fit with what I remember.

Parents of Lena - William John Donaldson and Mary Hall

There are details of a previous marriage for Lena to Thomas Cummings but the marriage date is incorrect. (She wasn;t born in 1903)  ???

Aaaah, so you did know a little more  ;)

Quote comes from anc family tree, perhaps you can contact the owner and compare notes.
It just says about 1964.  ???

I wouldn't know how to find 'anc" family tree.  how would I find that? Can you advise me on how I connect with the 'Owner".

I am not sure what date Uncle Tommy died.  I only know it was before I joined up with the Boy Service.

Just google ancestry and the site should appear for you - however if you haven't got a subscription then you couldn't view public trees - it would need you to at least sign up for a free 14 day trial - only trouble is you would have to give your credit card number.

Try www.mundia.com the sister site to ancestry - sign up for free and you should be able to view family tree entries whilst in the beta stage.

Good Luck

bugle boy...answering on here as this is your thread for the couple...Important not to make new threads as it just duplicates resources...and ties up the already overloaded server

However the online ones only go up to 1939 or so you'd have to get a lookup for the actual will information
