John, Could that be a k as the third letter in the surname?

I cannot get anything out of these names, 'cept a few oddments on Google.
LeHarry, Fekorey, Fehorey, Jekovey, Jehorey, Lekorey, Filiarey, Sekorey, Sehovey, Hikorey (& Jekorey gives me Jessop results!)
Trouble is that there's no other hand writing so far to compare this signature with. I can only think that those first two letters are one, and the last letter is not a y, but that is getting rather overly creative perhaps!    :)

thanks for all your suggestions so far.

My guess would be Schorey, which from a quick Google does appear to be an actual name :)

S c h .... very clever  :o  and I can agree with that. Oh & just checked a neighbour in Sandal called the very same b. ca. 1770 ish which fits as this sig. was made in 1795.

Cheers & I'll close this one.
