I agree with Doddsie about irritating IE pop-up's, stating the obvious. I've installed Chrome but haven't got round to using it.

Bucksferret is correct - you can have as many browsers installed on your PC as you wish.   You can't un-install Internet Explorer, but you can make another browser your 'default' browser (i.e. the browser that opens when you click on a link in an email or document).  You usually set up your default browser within the 'Options' menu of the browser in question.

Be aware though, if installing say Chrome watch out for tool bar!
(Some don't want the inconverience of another tool bar)

Caverley Lad,
You've hit the nail on the head.       I installed it once because I wanted the EARTH GOOGLE site, and the tool bar really was a big distraction.
I didn't like it being there one bit

When you install Chrome, you are given the option of which other utilities are to be installed.  If you slip up and accidentally install the Tool Bar, then it only takes a minute to un-install it.
