I think I sent you the link you already have from the Fulton Post Card site.  I haven't seen the Pictorial Magazine one.  I would love to see the photo of him in uniform.

Also thank you middlebrough, I now have records of his athletic meetings, but it was very kind of you to send them.

It seems the photo of Cyril Dugmore in uniform didn't go off as expected - Another attempt - Engzelius

Hi All,

I note that this thread is a few years old. I came across it while researching members of my club South London Harriers that took part in the 1908 London Olympics.

I knew that Cyril Dugmore was an Olympian as mentioned in Ian Buchanan’s “Encyclopedia of British Athletics Records”, in which he is mentioned as having been affiliated to SLH. However I had no knowledge he was with SLH as an Olympian.

Looking through the club gazette for August 1908 he is mentioned as having joined the club the same month as the Olympic Games - July.  Other online sources list him as a member of Birchfield Harriers. It is quite possible he was a member of at least these two clubs as it is odd that in the s  as me gazette he is not mentioned as a representative of SLH at the Games, in which he certainly took part in the hop, step and jump (triple jump) finishing eleventh.

Any more details gratefully received and i can certainly search the gazettes for more athletics results.

Kind regards
