Hi,

I have a book '1000 Cornish Place Names Explained' which, as the title suggests, gives the meanings of 1000 different town and village names in Cornwall. So if you are looking for the history of a tiny or larger village/hamlet/town, I can help.

Also, if you have found a place on a census you can't quite read, we can have several guesses and see if any are listed in the book. Some places in there are too small even for Google Maps so it is very useful for reading those wildcard place names.
