I've had no luck finding a burial for Peter but I have found Ellen.

Ellen Heffeman, widow of Peter Bourke died the 5th July 1871 at the age of 60, buried the 7th July.
Minister officiating Rev J McCarthy.

She is buried in Almorah cemetery and the grave reference is Plot 22/15/V

Almorah only came into use in 1862 so the others will not be with her. My understanding is that there were no specific Catholic burial grounds.

Anyone have any idea what was behind Peter Bourke falling from the window to his death 1 Dec 1856? The newspaper archive on Findmypast is missing the vital year 1856. The archive does, however, have info early the following year, where Ellen sued her son Martin Peter to get back her dowry after Martin sold off all of Peter's personal and business effects. Martin's siblings sued him as well for their share of the inheritance. Thanks in advance. Jan.
