Help Needed

I'm trying to find Charles Andrew Murray ( b.1911 Springfield,Indiana ) & Family in the 1940 census but have come to a dead end.


On Ancestry.com Charles & his wife Margarete are listed at 939 Walnut Street,Decatur,Adams,Indiana.
But the image shows them on lines 24 & 25 crossed out with the words EXTRA LINE & no other details.

What does this mean??

I can't find them anywhere else in the 1940 Census.

Anybody got any suggestions.

Thats a strange one Snook, can't find another entry for him either  ???

I don't know about ancestry, but the familysearch site doesn't have all states yet in their database.  Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Missouri, to name a few have yet to be entered and are marked with asterics.  Maybe your people have moved to another state.

Ancestry has all states done  and it is FREE. :) :)

I have checked all states but no show.

Where are they??? ???
