The above headstone say's Elizabeth formerly of Camolin so i wonder if she's Elizabeth Stern who married Edward Pepper a widower Shopkeeper of Camolin in Gorey 1849

There is a Peppard headstone at the back of Clone graveyard.Closed to public for renovation currently. It is listed on Cantwells Memorials of the Dead. Also a Peppard couple of Clone were godparents to my RC grand uncles who were born in middle 1850s in Killabeg, Civil Parish of Clone. Nowadays RC parish of Monageer. I was surprised but other religions can become god parents of Roman Catholic children.
